Gloucester Cathedral serves up a sumptuous Medieval Banquet

On Friday 30 September at 7.00pm the magnificent Nave of Gloucester Cathedral will be transformed into a majestic medieval banquet hall.
At 7.00pm guests will enjoy a welcome drink on arrival before being served a bountiful medieval feast. Throughout the evening costumed musicians and medieval ladies and knights will transport everyone back in time with music, dancing, storytelling and even table side combat!
There will also be a superb auction giving guests the opportunity to win some amazing prizes which will be revealed on the night with proceeds going towards the upkeep of Gloucester Cathedral. Audience participation and the wearing of medieval style costume is encouraged and will add to the authenticity of this truly entertaining evening.
Over a hundred tickets have already been snapped up for this unique event leaving fewer than 20 places available to book. Tickets cost £50 and are available from 0845 652 1823, in person in the Cathedral Gift Shop or at www.gloucestercathedral.org.uk
Discounts are available for groups of 6 people or more. Please contact Sarah Steel on 01452 874 965 for further information, to discuss a group booking or to order your table wine in advance. A paying bar will be available on the night.
