Segway Active at the NDAC
Gliding on a Segway feels like nothing you've ever experienced, step on and your instincts take over. You will quickly realise that the Segway responds to how you balance yourself! It's for people of all ages, feels incredibly natural and really fun. The Segway Active Experience is set in a fantastic location situated around a disused limes stone quarry with fantastic views.
Segway Active have 12 brand new Segway's and a custom built Segway Active HQ, training facility and off road track.
Segway Active's brand new purpose built Segway facility is like no other, with varying gradients and terrain and a purpose built off road obstacle course, coupled with stunning views and surreal scenery. This will give anyone who tries it a thrilling experience!
Each Segway Active experience will last an hour and will start with full instruction and a safety briefing on our flat training zone. This will give you the opportunity to get to grips with your Segway in a safe environment. Once you have become a competent rider you will be unleashed on our off road track.

- 60 minute Segway Active Experience
- Full instruction and safety briefing
- All safety equipment needed
- Dedicated Segway Active trained Instructor
- Segway Active Driver’s license (once qualified as a competent Segway Active driver)
What you need to know about Segway Active
- Segway Active look forward to you joining in the fun if you’re over 7 stone (45kg) and under 18.8 stone (119kg).
- There are no age restrictions for Segway Active. However if under 16 you need to be accompanied by an adult/guardian
