A fantastic day out in the Cotswolds for all the family awaits at the Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens - dogs are welcome too!

Cotswold Wildlife Park is set in 160 acres of parkland and gardens around a listed Victorian Manor House and has been open to the public since 1970.

Stroll around Cotswold Wilidlife Park & Gardens and enjoy uninterrupted views of the animals, so it feels as though you are in a wild setting. There are animals galore that you can get up close to. Watch Rhinos graze on the lawns in front of the Gothic Manor House.

Walk up the Giraffe walkway and get eye-to-eye with these amazing creatures or explore the Walled Garden’s Tropical House with free roaming sloth, birds and bats. Watch the Penguin’s being fed and then get up close with the Lemurs in their free-roaming Madagascar Exhibit. Why not take a ride on ‘Bella the Train’ around the Park, or explore the extensive adventure playground.


Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens Opening Times 2023

Cotswold Wildlife Park will remain CLOSED on WEEKDAYS ONLY from 9 January until 9 February (re-opening on Friday 10 February 2023); EXCEPT FOR WEEKENDS when the Park will be OPEN from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm or dusk (whichever is earlier, with last admission being at 3.00 pm).

The Madagascar exhibit closes at 3.00 pm in winter and 3.30 pm in summer, this is to ensure the inhabitants of this enclosure have plenty of time to settle for the evening

The Park is then open everyday (except 25th December) from 10am.
Last admissions between April and October (British Summer Time) are at 4pm; November to March (GMT) 3pm.
During BST (British Summer Time) all visitors and cars etc to leave Park by 6pm and during Winter time by 5pm or dusk, whichever is earlier.

Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens is pushchair and wheelchair friendly.

E-Ticket Prices - must be purchased the day before your visit and will be available from 10am

  • Adults: £16
  • Children (aged 3-16 inclusive): £11
    Infant (under 3): FREE
  • Over 65's: £11

Season tickets can be purchased online instead of an ordinary day ticket and are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Season tickets are not transferable and can only be used by the person named thereon.


Daily Activities at Cotswold Wildlife Park

As well as plenty of seasonal events, Cotswold Wildlife Park also has a range of activities that run daily throughout the year.:

  • Penguin feeding at 11am & 3pm
  • Lemur feeding talk at 12 noon.
  • Children's farmyard
  • Hot food and drink menu being served from the restaurant and kiosks. Cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks are also available. You are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy at the Park.
  • The Adventure Playground ‘Skymaze’. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and use of playground equipment is at your own risk. Current Government advice on social spacing applies.
  • Narrow gauge railway open April - October.




Dogs welcome at Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens

Dogs may be brought into the Park provided that they are kept on a lead and under adult control at all times. Dogs may not be taken indoors or into the Bat House, Reptile House, Children’s Farmyard and any areas with free roaming animals, including “Madagascar” the lemur exhibit, Flamingo Lake and the Wolf Walkway area. Please clean up after your dog and ask at the Pay Desk for a poop bag.

Dogs must not be left unattended anywhere in the Park.


Disabled Access at Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens

The park and gardens are 99% accessible for both wheelchairs and pushchairs. The only place wheelchairs cannot access is the first floor of the Bat House, but there is a viewing platform at ground level too.  The bridge over Flamingo Lake isn’t wheelchair friendly, but there is another entrance next to the Bridge. Disabled facilities are available in all toilet blocks.
