Bibury Trout Farm
Visit a working trout farm....
Bibury Trout Farm, one of Britain’s oldest, and certainly most attractive, Trout Farms welcomes visitors every day except Christmas Day.
Founded in 1902, by the famous naturalist Arthur Severn, to stock the local rivers and streams with the native Brown Trout, Bibury Trout Farm now covers 15 acres in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Cotswolds.
The lovely Bibury Trout Farm gift shop caters for all pockets and the fish counter sells mouth watering fresh and smoked trout as well as other local food products. The Bibury Trout Farm terrace cafe is open between March and October and fun fishing is available during the summer. Please check exact opening times which do vary with school holidays.
The village of Bibury itself has been referred to as the ‘most beautiful village in England’ by William Morris and is well worth a visit, with the historic Arlington Mill, Arlington Row and the beautiful St Mary’s Church.
